Prince George, B.C. – Visitors to the Canada Games Plaza will be able to track the history of Prince George.
As part of the plaza renovation project, a timeline outlining the significant events in the development of the City of Prince George, has been installed.
The timeline, installed by Trimline Graphics of Prince George, winds it’s way around the centre courtyard of the plaza. The events are written in English, French and Carrier.
The concrete ‘ribbon’ starts near the wooden torch on the south west corner of the plaza and flows through the area, adding to the story of Prince George which is depicted on the image wrapped pillars throughout the plaza.

Or they could just use the internet.
Who on Patricia Blvd. comes up with these expensive, useless, projects? First of all I doubt very much if these vinyl letters will last long on the concrete. Secondly, this ribbon will be covered with snow and ice for five months each year, however, I do realize we don’t have tourists throughout the winter. A nice board sign would have been more cost effective and visible twelve months a year. Is this wise spending with taxpayers dollars?
Perhaps the intention is to attract the attention of those looking downward while texting on their cell phones.
Practical thinking would have utilized the wall behind the fountain/rink where it could have been seen all year long.
