Poppy Campaign Officially Launched

The Legion’s John Scott pins a poppy on Mayor Lyn Hall

Prince George BC – Royal Canadian Legion  Branch #43 in Prince George has officially launched its poppy campaign.The dollars raised help veterans and their families with health care aids, transportation to medical treatment or if needed home renovations.  

Poppies  are available by donation.. and wrist bands can be purchased for $2 each.

Veterans old and new deserve our respect for what they did and what they went through

Politics nor your beliefs have no business marring what we owe to these men and women at this time of the year

Lest we forget their sacrifices
