Prince George BC – A special weather statement has been issued for Prince George

Environment Canada advises strong winds are expected Monday afternoon and evening.

A low pressure system will move across the Northern BC Interior on Monday. The system will spread strong southerly winds up to 60 km/h gusting to 80 over most Central Interior and B.C. Peace River regions Monday afternoon through Monday night. At the same time, the system will also produce snow and local blowing snow to these areas.
