REAPS Collects Toys For Christmas

Saturday, November 21, 2015 @ 4:14 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The volunteers at REAPS are growing something seasonal at their Compost Demo Garden on Gorse Street this weekend.

They’re holding their 19th Annual Recycle Toy Drive today, gathering good-quality used toys which will be passed along to thirteen local children’s organizations for distribution this Christmas.  Items are being collected for everyone from newborns to those in their upper teens.

And it’s not just toys being collected.  You can also drop off games, books, CDs and DVDs, Lego, crayons and colouring books, stuffed toys and other items, all as long as they are in good condition.

REAPS is also taking donations to the Humane Society and the SPCA, again items for dogs and cats that are in good condition.

The Recycle Toy Drive is on today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at REAPS, 1950 Gorse Street.
