Prince George, B.C. – Fire destroyed a home in the 5900 block of Landooz Road last night.
15 firefighters from three halls responded to the blaze at approximately 7:45pm to find the two storey structure fully involved.
Prince Gorge Fire Rescue Assistant Fire Chief John Law says no one was home at the time and notes crews were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby vehicles, a boat and travel trailer.
He says they also prevented the fire from spreading to an adjacent forest area.
Located near Northwood Pulp, damages are estimated at 400,000.00.
And while the cause of the fire is undetermined, Law says it does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
There were no injuries.
