PG Firefighters Respond to Garage Fire

Prince George, B.C. – Firefighters from three halls responded to a garage fire in the 2500 block of Coyle Street in the bowl area this morning.

Crews arrived on scene at 12:40 a.m.  to also find smoke on the second floor.

The fire was quickly extinguished though, limiting the damage.

Three people were home at the time but managed to escape uninjured.

It was determined that an electrical short was the cause with damages estimated at $10,000.00.

Crews were on scene for over one hour.

Not saying this was a block heater but one day while helping a friend delivering flyers flames exploded from under a car hood while we were walking by. Scare the pjeebers out of us at the time
