Fire fighter peels back siding – photo 250News

Prince George, B.C.-   Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a  fire on McMaster Crescent  this morning .

The resident of the College Heights home  noted  a wall was ‘hot to the touch’ around 7 this morning and contacted the fire department.

Fire fighters  peeled back the siding on the outer wall of the home,  and  doused  a  fire that  was believed to have  started in the  chimney of the fireplace.

No one  hurt,  damage is estimated to be  in the  $100 thousand dollar range.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
