Saturday, December 5, 2015 @ 10:14 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The growing incidence of juvenile arthritis is being brought to the forefront at today’s Jingle Bell Walk and Run for Arthritis, which is being held at CN Centre.

Spokesperson Marvene Layte says the money collected through the fundraiser will go to the battle against juvenile arthritis.  She says here in Canada three in one thousand kids suffer from arthritis and the affliction is growing quite noticeably in the north.

The Jingle Bell Walk and Run is being held on the concourse at CN Centre.  Registration starts at noon, opening ceremonies begin at 12:45 and, following a short warm-up the event kicks off at 1pm.

Information tables will be set up and there will be 35 vendors on site with all kinds of goodies and seasonal items.

Everyone who wants to is invited to take part.
