Prince George, B.C. – Those looking for some holiday cheer look no further.

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Christmas Block party tonight. 

The party will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at three locations: The Prince George Chamber of Commerce (890 Vancouver St), Integris Credit Union (1598 6th Ave) and Community Futures Fraser Fort George (1566 7th Ave).

“There are a bunch of reasons we do this. Number one is to have a gathering as a thank-you to our chamber members,” says CEO Christie Ray.

“Number two is to get anybody who may be considering chamber membership or just want to know what it’s all about to come by and talk with staff, and three to give the business community another great opportunity to network and build relationships.”

She says the party will include some great food at all locations including a gourmet dessert bar at the chamber office.

“For those of you who haven’t heard about Cakewalk Desserts or tried their amazing cupcakes and cookies that Heather Morris makes, oh my goodness you’re missing out.”
