Hayden O’Bryan receives special visit from Santa Claus – photos 250News

Prince George, B.C. – Santa Claus spent part of his morning spreading holiday cheer in the Paediatrics unit at the University Hospital of Northern B.C.

“When you’re sick you don’t want to miss out on Santa,” said child life specialist Sandra Wyatt.

“It leaves them (kids) with a good impression and a good sense of they’ve come here to get better but Santa came to see them so it takes over why they’re here a little bit.”

One youngster pleased to see Santa was Hayden O’Bryan, who received a sack full of Stars Wars toys.

“It’s nice for him, he’s been pretty bored,” said mother Dana. “He’s pretty blue, he doesn’t like the hospital much. We’re going to go see Star Wars as soon as he’s better.”
