Vanderhoof, B.C. – One person is dead following a collision this morning on Bearhead Road part way between Vanderhoof and Fort Fraser.

North District Corporal Dave Tyreman says it involved a logging truck and a minivan and occurred around 10:30 am.

He says few details are available at this time, including the number of people involved, but says the driver of the minivan was found deceased inside the vehicle.

Tyreman says highway traffic will not be affected. More details to come as soon as they become available.
