Prince George BC – Highway 97 south of Quesnel has reopened following a fatal collision. 

The highway was closed n both directions about 45 kms south of Quesnel since about 1:30 this afternoon.

Initial.reports are that a small car and a pick up collided just south of the Alexandria Ferry North Road.

The name of the deceased and if others were injured are details that have yet to be released.
