Little Girl First New Years Baby in Prince Rupert

Prince George, B.C. – The first baby born in Prince Rupert in 2016 arrived shortly after 10:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
The baby girl was born at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital at 10:34 a.m. January 1st to Bhupinder and Ginny Bahth of Prince Rupert. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces. She is the first child for Bhupinder and Ginny.
The first baby born in British Columbia is a boy delivered at Surrey Memorial Hospital at 12:15 a.m. on January 1, 2016.
