Pilot Walks Away From Crash

Mackenzie, BC. – The pilot of a small plane is lucky to be alive.
The Piper Super Cub crash landed on the Conifex FFI road in the District of Mackenzie early this afternoon. Early reports suggest the pilot was experiencing engine trouble and attempted to land the plane on a roadway.
The landing did not go as planned as one wing clipped a tree.
The pilot was able to walk away from the crash site.
The Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
