Prince George, B.C. – Science World will be in Prince George all week showcasing their On The Road program to local schools.

“The goal is to get kids excited about science. Get kids excited about learning and make them more science literate,” says On the Road team leader Stephan Adamus. “It’s not all homework assignments and lab reports and stuff like that.”

He says their school visits will feature what he calls “epic 45 minute gym shows.”

“We’ve got a K-3 show called ‘How to Science’ all about observing and predicting testing. A 4-7 show called ‘Earth, Wind and Science,’ all about weather and a K-7 show for the entire school called ‘Fantastic Forces,’ all about forces, gravity and friction.”

Adamus says Science World staff love to travel the province and share their knowledge with kids.

“We don’t just want to be Science World as a building in Vancouver. Our goal is to get kids excited about learning and we want to do that for all of B.C.”
