Ft. St. John, B.C.- The man who was involved in a stand off with RCMP in Charlie Lake on the weekend has been identified.
The BC Coroners Service has identified the man as 33 year old Mark Delawski of Charlie Lake.
RCMP had attended the Charlie Lake residence just before noon on Sunday in response to concerns expressed by a family member.
According to the Coroners Service, police were not able to “engage” with Delawski and around 10:30 that night the Emergency Response Team entered the home and found a 2 year old child unharmed, but Mr. Delwaski was deceased.
The BC Coroners Service and the Independent Investigations Office (IIO) continue to investigate this death.

Not knowing any details but this sounds like a sad result to a domestic incident. I hope the kid was not traumatized in any way.
