Celebrate Prince George Photo Contest – Day 1

From  a backyard  skating rink, to loons on a lake,   here are the first  of the best images  submitted to 250News on the first day  of  the 250News Celebrate Prince George Photo  contest:If you would like to  submit a photo  which  shows what makes Prince George special to you,  send it to elaine@250News.com.

Deadline for daily entries is  5.p.m. daily for consideration  for publication and voting the following day.  The grand prize is $250 dollars!

#7 Tyke shovels off the rink. Really captures the beauty of Prince George in the winter with the sun shining through the trees and a child enjoying winter activities.

#6,I feel this best captures things that are familiar to us, the colour and type of trees, rolling landscape, density of snow and apex of the sun, although quite nice a lot of the other photos could be from anywhere, but when I look at #6 it looks like my backyard.
