Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Cougars continued their winning ways with a 5-2 win over the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds in Abbotsford Saturday.

Cougar goals came from Trey Thomas, Tyler Maser, Josh Maser, Ty Kolle and Mason Richey.

The win improved their record to 25-7-3 in BC Major Midget League action this season.

The win puts the Cougars two points clear of Valley West for first place, though the Hawks have three games in hand.

The Cougars and Thunderbirds complete their season series today.
