‘Amazing’ conditions today at Otway Nordic Centre – photos 250News

Prince George, B.C. – If you’ve been thinking of taking the family out to Otway Nordic Centre, today would be a good time to do it.

To mark Family Day, family ski, snowshoe and introductory lessons are just half price and to top things off, general manager Cara Moore says conditions are excellent.

“Conditions are amazing. Our groomers have done amazing work of making the little bit of snow we’ve gotten this winter last.”

Other family attractions today include a scavenger hunt, games and a hot dog and hot chocolate lunch at the gravel pit.

“The proceeds of the hot dog roast go to the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Salvation Army. It’s our way of giving back a bit to the community while also allowing people to have fun out here.”
