“Information provided to police was that a group of six males were in the park when the victim was approached by three of them,” he says. “The suspect allegedly pulled out what appeared to be a silver coloured hand gun held in his left hand and pointed it at the victim telling the youth the bike was now his.”
He says a friend of the victim reported the crime immediately afterwards though police were unable to track down the suspects.
The bike is described as a red and black MacNeil BMX style bike. The last five digits of the serial number are 82044.
Tyreman describes the main suspect as an indigenous male, approximately 5’9″ and wearing a camouflage hoodie.
He says the other suspect the bike was handed too is also an indigenous male who was wearing a black and grey sweater.
Tyreman says victim services have been referred to the affected parties. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.

Sleepy little Williams Lake has had a plaque of issues lately. Native gang violence seems to be at the heart of many of the incidents as of late. Not saying that this is related, but it seems to jive with their recent issues. Time to send in a dedicated task force to clean it up, before the local rednecks there decide to pursue vigilante justice.
I kinda like the vigilante justice thing.
Willies puddle has always had a crime issue even worse than PGs but has never been heavily reported but now because like so many other small towns in northern BC (ft St. John, Dawson creek, terrace to name a few) the drug and crime gangs are fighting turf wars in all these communities due to transient workforce and money and because generally they keep it out of the spot light these wars are generally not reported on.

“Williams Lake is once again at the top of the crime severity index of 303 cities with a population greater than 10,000.”
Actually, in Canadian law as it applies to some of us, there are 6 suspects in an armed robbery whether the gun was fake or not. However the RCMP spokesman should have been a little more honest and told the citizens its a waste of time investigating this incident as there is no real punishment for violent first nation perpetrators of crimes like this. A dose of waterboarding on one of them would help solve a variety of crime down there.
So even though only 3 approached, the other 3 were an unknown distance removed, you would arrest all 6 if you were there to do that?
I would agree to three.
The waterboarding comment is totally uncalled for in the context that you are talking about crime and yet you want to commit another one.
