Pineview Ready to Frolic

Saturday, February 27, 2016 @ 3:52 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The 47th annual Pineview SnowFrolics are underway, running over the next nine days until March 6th.

The winter carnival is proceeding full steam ahead, even though some may wonder where the winter weather went.  Events catering to all ages throughout the next week include Sno-Pitch, Snowshoe Volleyball, a Crib Tournament, Family Merchandise Bingo, Kids’ Games, and pancake breakfasts on both March 5th and 6th.  And a concession will be operating at most of the events.

A Teen Dance was held Friday night and that is being followed up by an Adult Dance at the Pineview Community Hall tonight.  Doors open at 7:30 and the DJ music runs from 8 pm to 1 am.  Tickets are $15 and that includes some mid-evening growlies.  Tickets are available at the Pineview Store as well as the Pineview Hall.

The Pineview Community Hall, centre of the week’s activities, is located at 6470 Bendixon Road.
