Prince George, B.C. – Looking for a career?
If yes, then the College of New Caledonia (CNC) and the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) are the places to be this week.
NorthWorks Career fair will run from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the CNC Gathering Place today and again tomorrow on Student Success Street at UNBC.
“NorthWorks is a long standing partnership between UNBC and CNC,” says Bryan Tinlin, CNC’s director of student services. “The purpose is to give students an opportunity to explore career opportunities within their field and beyond.”
He says there will be 35 job vendors on site today (53 are expected at UNBC tomorrow).
“These vendors consist of small businesses, corporations, community organizations like not-for-profits and our Aboriginal partners,” says Tinlin. “The idea is that yes, it’s for our students but everybody in the community is invited.”
He recommends job seekers bring a resume as these fairs have been known to lead to full-time positions.
“Absolutely. The college knows the industry very well, we often make recommendations for employers. They even call our trades program.”

It’s for everybody. And many, students are in classes at these times too.
Just keep smoking.
Working and going to school makes a lot of things difficult to attend.. Not even time to smoke at times…lol
