Looks like a good time haha
Now if they would give them proper jail time instead of slap on wrist.
Sorry handicap, but they’re not allowed to give them a slap on the wrist anymore. Too scared to get charged with assault!
So, instead, they ask them in the nicest way possible to please not do that again!
Please behave yourselves will be the end result. …again
perhaps we as the citizens need to support the politicians to empower the judicial system to make the criminals pay for their crimes, instead of making pot shots at the system from the sidelines.
He spoke, some of us making pot shots at the system from the sidelines do support the politicians to empower the judicial system to make the criminals pay for their crimes!
Some of us do contact our MLAs and our MPs to express our concern and displeasure over what we see as inappropriate and insufficient penalties for crimes committed!
Love it when a good plan comes together.
Everyone gets upset about the guys selling drugs but no one says too much about the people buying the drugs and keeping them in business. Most everyone knows someone who does drugs of some kind but no one is calling for them to be thrown in jail.
Nor does anyone ever say anything about the businesses who feed off of these people and their higher level associates. New trucks, bling, dinners out every night, gym memberships, nice houses, etc.
But hey, that’s good for the economy right?
What PPL do not mention ….is it probaly saved a few lives EH!!
The problem is they keep letting them out of jail after an overnight stay and then there back selling the next day. Keep putting them in jail until they pile up so high that they do not have room to move around. If you stop all the sellers there will be no place to buy.
They need to go after who ever is supplying the drugs , these people are only the messengers its wrong what they are doing but maybe they are addicted and have no choice but to follow their master and try to take more people to hell with them.
bitter- I have to agree with you but even when they get the suppliers they let them out to wait for a trial date which takes to long. Keep them in jail until there trial date. They do nothing but ruin many lives.
I agree with most of the previous comments. I too would like to see these people kept in custody (at least for a while) and also see some meaningful jail time. The problem, is that if the law enforcement did that to everyone the jails would be overflowing at all times. WE the taxpayers foot the enormous cost to keep people incarcirated.
In this case, an illegal firearm with ammo was found too. I am sincerely concerned about this. If you peddle drugs, then you’re a low life. If you deal drugs and have guns…these are the people we need to get out of circulation.
Prince George has enough problems, drug dealers toting guns brings back memories of all the gang problems of the last decade. Sooner or later an innocent person will be harmed because of people such as this.
We need nasty, uncomfortable prisons/work camps with no ammenities. Maybe then people will be afraid to go to jail, thus possibly changing their behaviour.
Why Fentanyl? How does killing your customers help you be a succesful drug dealer? Scary.
The house and the perps are ‘known to police’. If I was the mayor I’d be calling the top crown council and a representative of the joke we have for a judiciary to city council to explain why these a***holes are still on the street. I’d love to hear a public explanation as to why there is no real sanctions or deterrents against criminal activity here.
Taxpayers are severely punished for having 2 beer at the pub or talking on a cell phone while driving, but crack dealers are not. Go figure.
And why should we be paying them welfare as well if they have other income from criminal activity. Make ’em do a drug test every 2 weeks.
They need to build a prison in the far north. If they want to walk out, winter they freeze to death, summer mosquitoes eat them alive. Make them cut their own wood to cook and heat with. Don’t need many guards, just a desire for criminals to clean up their act. Quit making it cozy for them. An old friend of mines granddaughter is in jail right now, she’s charged with attempted murder. Long story, but I warned the mother and grandmother about the road she was going down. I was a taxi driver in Prince George, saw it all.
Hi Grizzly2……cheers old friend
