Prince George, B.C. – A sudden death late last night has police investigating.

Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says police were called to an address in the 1100 block of Alward Street where they found an adult female in medical distress.

Unfortunately, he says she was transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC where she later died.

As a result, he says the RCMP’s Serious Crime Section have been called in to investigate what they are now calling a “suspicious death.”

He says more information will be released as it becomes available.
