Prince George, B.C.- Expect some delays  if  you are  using the Old Cariboo  Highway between  16 and 97  this hour.A crash involving a  semi tractor trailer unit and a pick up truck has reduced traffic near Cummings Road.

There is no  word on anyone being serious hurt.

it is expected it will take some time to  extract the semi from  the ditch.

Must have been the truckers fault hey dumbfounded?

Naaa, this was clearly Harper’s fault.

Scary or what that is in a school zone. I guess they were doing the 30 kph

Good point. How does a truck or semi doing 30 km/hr hit hard enough for anyone to end up in a ditch? Be interesting to get the post-crash review.

Word from folks who live by the school is that the truck driver took the ditch to avoid the pickup truck who ran the stop sign.

Sounds like the makings of a country and western song…

Good on the truck driver. Hope he’s not hurt.

By the look of the signs on the East side of the road, it looks like he was just about to clear the school zone.

A container trailer is bound to be top heavy. It doesn’t take much with one of those.
