Prince George, B.C.- Police in Abbotsford are hoping savvy boat folks in the northern part of B.C. can help them find a boat, and the culprit who stole it.
Constable Ian MacDonald of Abbotsford Police says the 2016 Malibu Wakesetter 23SLV boat and red Malibu boat trailer were stolen from Performance Watersports in Abbotsford on Sunday.
The boat and trailer were spotted on Highway #1 being towed by a stolen white Ford F350 pick up truck.
The boat and trailer have since been spotted in the Central interior. “We got a call from a witness who knows his boats” says Cst. MacDonald, ” He took particular notice of this unit and gave us a call.”
The boat and trailer value have been pegged at $150,000.
Anyone who sees the truck, boat and trailer unit , or who may have information about this case, is asked to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 1-604-859-5225 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477

I wonder if the idiot towing the boat knows he is probably the only guy in Canada towing a boat this time of the year.

If you are willing to buy it you are just as guilty as the thief !!
Better check out a few firemen if it’s headed to PG. Sounds familiar!
I have seen a lot of boats coming out of storage. Nice diversion though hey ,,, no ???
At that price I imagine there aren’t a lot of those boats around.
Funny thing is, there are a lot of these boats around. Wages haven’t increased much, but credit sure has. When rates start to rise, there will be a lot of hurt in Canada. And a lot of deals for those with cash to spare.
One that looks exactly like it was parked in Vanderhoof all last year for sale.
