Roller Derby Tournament Hits the Roll-A-Dome

Saturday, March 12, 2016 @ 3:51 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Roll-A-Dome will be rocking this weekend as the Rated PG Rollergirls host the 3rd annual Northern Exposure Roller Derby Tournament.

Five teams from across BC will put their skills, speed and strength to the test in a two-day battle that will see one of those teams rise above the rest to take top spot.  Competing along with the host Prince George squad are teams from Quesnel, Terrace, Fort St John and a pick-up team composed of members from all over BC.

Game times today are 9 am, 10:30 am, 12 noon, 1:30, 3 and 4:30 PM.  Then at 6 tonight the Spruce City Rollerbrats face the Gold Nuggets in a junior contest.  That’s followed at 7:30 pm with the Rated PG Northstars taking on an all-star team made up from the best players at this tournament.

And the rough-and-tumble weekend concludes with three more games on Sunday, at 8:30, 10 and 11:30 am.

Loads of action for just $10 for a day pass or $15 for the whole weekend.
