Prince George, B.C.- Prince George Fire rescue  Are on the scene of a house fire on 11th Avenue in downtown Prince George

Crews responded to the house fire   around 8 this morning.

There were  people home at the time of the fire,   one resident  ran to a neighbours home   to call for help.

A column of smoke from the fire could be seen  for several kilometers.

There is no  word yet on possible injuries, the cause of the fire,  or  an estimate  of damage.
