Prince George, B.C. – A group of College of New Caledonia students did their school proud this past weekend at the Western Business Competition at Okanagan College in Kelowna.

The students (Jessica Cavaliero, Jessie Seitz, Aine Hogan and Geo Joseph) finished second in the Junior Division of the event while Jessica Cavaliero was named top CEO and Geo Joseph snagged the top VP of Finance award.

“I’m extremely proud, it was early on in the process I believed these guys had the opportunity and the ability to do extremely well and they did,” said accounting instructor and team coach Mark Wendling.

“It just goes to show the level of education we have at this college and the strength of our business program. We have a terrific bunch because without them students wouldn’t have had the background they needed to do well.”
