Prince George, B.C. – A grass fire at 15th Avenue and Winnipeg Street near downtown just before 1:00 p.m. briefly slowed traffic early this afternoon.
It happened just across the street from Staples in a grassy area. No homes or structures were damaged.
It took crews around 20 minutes to knock it down. No word yet on the cause.

Dang dope smokers!
Have seen dozens of drivers flicking their butts out their windows already/still. The brain dead will always be part of life on this planet.
I’d lay odds this was caused by a discarded cigarette.
People used to hang out in that area to smoke dope, probably still do.
