Don’t Forget to Slow Down in School Zones

Prince George, B.C. – If you plan on getting behind the wheel today, don’t forget to ease off the gas pedal if you’re driving through a school zone in the Prince George School District.
Spring break is officially over which means the speed limit when driving through a school zone is 30 km per hour.
That 30 km per hour speed limit is in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on regular school days only.

Malaspina is a bad one, especially since the expansion of the residential area down at the east end. Way more idiots flying through the school zone.
publish all the reminders you want – have lived here for a number of years now and most don’t slow down – here’s an idea, have community police with cameras and radar at school zones and start issuing tickets to these ignorant people or have actual police monitoring the zones – after all what are we paying taxes for
