Witala Signs ATO Agreement with Toronto Marlies
Prince George, B.C. – Hometown boy Chase Witala has signed an Amateur Try Out (ATO) contract with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
Witala just completed his WHL career as the all-time Prince George Cougar franchise leader in goals (120) and points (239).

This past year he sniped 39 goals and added 40 assists and was named team MVP and a second-team WHL Western Conference all-star.
Witala was also a co-winner of the Cougars 3-Stars Selections Award this year with Ty Edmonds.
“Chase has always been someone I could trust to put in the effort required,” says Cougars coach Mark Holick. “That effort was rewarded today. I’m a very proud coach.”
Witala is the second Cougar to sign an ATO in the past few days. Jansen Harkins signed an ATO with the Manitoba Moose on Saturday.

Maybe so. But unlike the past. Players won’t mind coming here.
Far from it. Next year was always the year that this Cougars team was gonna be the best they could be. They will add a couple pieces and make a run.
Way to go Chase.
We could tell you were on your way to Bigger and Better things.
The Future looks Bright.
