Prince George ,B.C.- The lack of Canadian teams will have an impact on how much of the playoffs 250 readers will be watching on tv.
250News asked: With no Canadian NHL teams in the NHL playoffs, will your TV playoff viewing habits change?
Of those who watch the playoffs (497), 80% (400) say they will watch less hockey.
Only 17% (85) said they would watch the same amount, and 3% (12) said they would watch more hockey.
In all, there were 826 votes cast, and 39% said they didn’t watch hockey on tv at all. If you consider the total votes cast, 48% said they would watch less hockey.

the option should have been ” watch no hockey at all ” no habs no nucks not watching :)
Used to watch a fair bit of hockey..but ever since the lockout I just haven’t really gotten back into it. As for no Canadian teams making the playoffs..that’s what happens when your scouting sucks, you don’t trade and you sign lousy players.
No trade clause and contracts going longer than 3 yrs should be stopped.
The better players head south for the money. Ever hear of a player turning down an American team draft pick to stay in Canada?
