Prince George, BC- Police are looking for the public’s assistance in order to return found property to their rightful owners.

In late February RCMP in Prince George  received a report of found property that was located on 3rd Avenue near Winnipeg Street in Prince George.

A member of the public located a table saw and a chop saw hidden in the area, leading police to believe they had been stolen. Further checks of the area, found a number of other items including:

  • 2 DVD players
  • 1 CD player
  • 1 camera
  • 1 stereo system
  • 1 television
  • 1 laptop
  • 1 IPOD
  • 2 portable radios (walkie talkies)
  • 2 speakers
  • 1 socket set
  • 1 key ring containing 24 keys

To date, investigators have not been able to locate the owners. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in order to return these items to their rightful owners.

In order to claim these items, owners must be able to describe them to police before they can be released. Information on the make, model, colour and other distinguishing features will be requested.

If you were a victim of crime or somehow have misplaced one or more of these items and believe they belong to you, please attend the Prince George RCMP at 455 Victoria Street and describe your item to staff.
