Mounties Investigate Aggravated Assault
Prince George, B.C. – An aggravated assault last night has sent one person to hospital and landed three people in police custody.
RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says at around 10:45 p.m. police responded to a report of a man bleeding from the neck near the corner of 20th Avenue and Spruce Street.
He says police and paramedics attended the scene to find a 26 year old man unconscious with an apparent cut to the neck.
Douglass says Police Dog Service ‘Taz’ led investigators to a residence on the 2600 block of Upland Street a few blocks from the scene where three individuals were later taken into custody.
Those three suspects were held in custody overnight as the investigation continues. Meanwhile the victim remains in hospital recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses are asked to call police.
