Prince George, B.C. – The Elder Citizens Recreation Association (ECRA) is holding a giant garage, bake, and book sale today.
Proceeds from the annual event to back to the recreation centre for centre operations.
“Many of our members are downsizing so they’ve brought all of their treasures in here,” says volunteer Kathy Nadalin. “One person’s junk is another person’s treasure and we hope a lot of people find treasures.”

She says everything from kitchen itmes to clothing and everything in between is on display. There’s even a concession stand.
“We have 800 members and it costs us a pretty penny to keep the doors open and this is only one of the many fundraisers we have.”
Nadalin says they hope to raise about $2,000. The sale runs until 2:00 p.m. today. ECRA is located at 1692 10th Avenue.
