Prince George, B.C. – From jewelry and purses to oils, baby clothing, makeup and nails, there’s something for everybody at today’s 7th annual Spring Business Show at the Hart Pioneer Centre.
“We have about 30 businesses that come show their stuff,” says organizer Jeanine Prive. “It’s for the public to come and see and for businesses to network.”
She says the fairs are held twice a year and aim to showcase local home based businesses.
“It’s to help them grow. This one’s more affordable, we keep the costs down,” says Prive. “There’s no money making for us putting it together. We just volunteer and we use all the money to either advertise or have free food and coffee.”
Today’s event wraps up at 4:00 p.m. Prive says the next fair will take place in October.
