Prince George, B.C. – High winds are expected along the Highway 16 Corridor between Terrace and Smithers as a low pressure system builds.
Winds of 70 -90 kms/hr may be experienced through that area . The wind speeds high enough for Environment Canada to issue a high wind warning.
For Prince George, there is a special weather statement in effect.
Wind gusts this afternoon will intensify as the system moves across northern BC this afternoon. Strong south to southwest winds will gust to 70 or 80 km/h . At these wind speeds, power outages become possible.

I smell even more unicorn farts!
I only smell them when Ataloss posts…
With 70 to 80 km winds your solar panels might just turn into kites.
