New Airport Web Site Takes Flight
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Airport has launched a new website that has some extra features.

The new site, which can be accessed here has some interactive applications, such as live flight tracking. This feature will allow you to see, in real time, a flight’s location and when it will land.
“Technology changes at such a rapid pace and we felt it was time to join the responsive world in terms of web design, so this new website is user friendly no matter what device you are on” says PG Airport Authority President and CEO John Gibson.
The site still provides arrival and departure schedules, travel tips and parking information but in addition to the live flight tracking, it has added a Google 360 Business View tour of the terminal, and a page on the airport’s mascot Amelia Bearheart with a colouring book that can be downloaded.
The site’s address remains the same, http://www.pgairport.ca

Ask them how much they spent, and if was more than 130k the city is throwing away.
There is no comparison with the breadth of information the City’s website needs to carry. As a result, even if the same firm were to do the web site, the City’s web site would cost substantially more.
While they are both web sites, they differ as night does from day.

The site looks pretty good. There is a lot of information, from transportation services to aircraft landing and parking fees.
