Prince George, B.C. – Two more wildfires of note to report in the Peace.
Emily Epp with the Prince George Fire Centre says that brings the total to seven in the region.
She says they’re still waiting for information on the new blazes but did provide an update on the other five:
- The Beaton Airport Road fire, 50 km north west of Fort St. John is 7,035 hectares and 85% contained.
- The Voight Creek wildfire is estimated at 31 hectares in size and 85% contained.
- The Clearview fire is 48 hectares with 75% containment.
- The Doig River fire, 2 km north of the Doig River First Nation community is 200 hectares and 0% contained.
- The Siphon Creek wildfire, four km south of the Doig River First Nation community is 7,000 hectares.
She says the Siphon Creek wildfire is currently unsafe for crews to be working on from the ground.
“So we are monitoring that from the air but our first priority is assessing where the fire is going and making sure that the fire is safe. We were also able to get some air tanker action on that fire yesterday.”
The fires have forced the Peace River Regional District to announce three evacuation alerts. Those are for the Siphon Creek area, the Cecil Lake Goodlow area and for 2 km north of the Doig River First Nation community.
Epp says weather conditions aren’t helping wildfire crews.
“We are seeing that the wind and warm temperatures are definitely not working in our favour. However, we do have a lot of resources working on all of those fires and more are on route and we are working very hard to keep the public safe.”

Hundred year old record temperatures falling daily , bigger record breaking storm cells battering coastlines around the globe . Whole island nations disappearing into the oceans . Record breaking pollution levels . Oh Look ! A snow flake on the east coast . That makes it all an illusion but only in the mind of idiots or ideologically propagandized sheeple. Even if they went up in smoke . They wouldn’t recognize reality .
Brutal, but accurate.
The ice is melting faster now, and the North and South pole is moving. This is caused by the rotational forces change as weight moves by melted ice. Thus the equater is moving closer to us. and eastern seaboard moves closer to the north pole.
What is going to happen as this happens. I would predict more earthquakes, and volcanoes. as the poles shift, and total mass of the planet moves around, it puts a lot of pressure on the surface of this fruit we call planet earth.
The weather we know in this area will change in drastically in the next 100 million years.
