Prince George, B.C. – For the past dozen years, Les Waldie has served on the board of the Prince George Airport Authority. That all comes to end on May 31st.
The bylaws for the Board require that Waldie’s term is up, but the Airport Authority seized the opportunity to say goodbye to Waldie at the annual general meeting.
“He has been here ever since I’ve been here” said CEO and President John Gibson, “He’s the one who hired me, so I’m particularly going to miss him.”
Over the past 7 years, Waldie has served as Chair, Vice Chair, Chair of the HR Committee, and is known throughout the community for his work with other organizations.
Dean Mason takes over as Chair on June 1st.
