Scary situation for a lot of families.

    Scary situation indeed!

For those that have or who still might lose their homes and everything that they own, the rebuilding and recovery that lies ahead will be a long and arduous task!

I wouldn’t wish that on anyone!

I would say one could even imagine having a standing house in a devastated neighborhood that might not recover for ten years or more… I wonder if insurance covers for that? Maybe business interruption insurance for the small business maybe, but for the average home owner?

Good luck for them as well.

seeing the scale of the evacuation yesterday was terrifying, how many cars were trying to get away from the flames. I’m hoping for a change in weather, but it doesn’t look like it’ll come today.

honestly though, can we stop the ‘we are all ft. mcmurray’, or ‘paris’ or ‘Charlie hebdo’, or whatever other tragedy is happening on any given day? it just trivializes the situation when it’s heard every other week.

Thank you for providing this source for info and updates, a convenient way to check on the latest news about this horrendous fire.
