Charges Laid in Summer Camp B & E
Prince George, B.C. – Two Prince George men are facing charges after they allegedly broke into a rural summer camp for girls last week.
The incident occurred May 4 at a girl guide camp on a forest service road approximately 75 km southeast of Prince George.
Two suspects had fled the area in an SUV, reportedly in possession of a handgun. A police pursuit ensued and both were apprehended and taken into custody.
Police later recovered a black pellet handgun and a pellet rifle along with other evidence of a break in but no stolen items.
A further search resulted in a police dog service team locating approximately $8,000 worth of stolen items.
As a result, 42-year-old Robert Glenn Klyne and 18-year-old Brady Samuel Klyne have been charged with the following offences:
-Break, Enter & Commit
-Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Both men are scheduled to make their next appearances in court this week.
