Prince George, B.C. – A busy afternoon for Prince George Fire Rescue.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 6000 block of Delhi Place in Lower College Heights at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Assistant Chief Darrell Kloschinsky says they arrived to find smoke coming from the back of the single story home and says they found fire in the back of the wall in the kitchen.

He says they quickly knocked the fire down though he estimates it caused $60,000 in damages. Kloschinsky says the cause is undetermined at this time

He adds no one was home at the time and there were no injuries.
