Prince George, B.C. – The Victoria Day long weekend is a significant mark on the calendar in that it signifies the kick-off to the camping season as well as the usual time to stock and plant your garden.

The perfect weekend, then, for the David Douglas Botanical Garden Society to host its 2016 Annual Plant Sale up at UNBC.  It runs from 10 am to 1 pm Sunday in parking lot “B” at the university.

You’ll find tables filled with hundreds of annuals, perennials, specialty plants, trees, shrubs, vegetables including a wide variety of tomatoes, fruits, herbs and much more.  There will also be a number of master gardeners on hand to answer questions and provide information to help you grow a garden successfully.
