Quesnel, B.C. – An arrest has been made in connection with an alleged assault last weekend in Quesnel.

On Sunday police say a woman was assaulted by an unknown male on the Riverwalk between Ceal Tingley Park and the train bridge.

Sgt. Darren Dodge says the male was riding a bike when he allegedly grabbed the female in an inappropriate manner.

He says the suspect, a 15-year-old male from Quesnel, was arrested today by members of the RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit and taken into custody without incident.
