Flooding Closes 97 Through Pine Pass

Prince George, B.C.- Highway 97  is closed  in both directions from Junction with Highway 39, south of Mackenzie to Junction with Highway 29, in Chetwynd (147.8 km) because of flooding.

The highway is closed  as  further assessments of the roadway are  conducted.   There are concerns  parts of the roadway may have “failed”  in several locations.

There  is no word on when  the situation  may improve.

I am sure the gas companies can find some way to twist this around so they can raise prices again.
