City Fields and Parks Re-open
Prince George, B.C. – All parks and sports fields in Prince George are being re-opened for public use as of first thing this morning.
The City had closed the facilities on Wednesday in the wake of heavy rainfall which continued through Thursday. The fields were kept closed on Friday to ensure public safety, guard against damage to the turf and to allow the saturated ground to dry out.
Now the City has received several calls from parents wanting to know whether their son or daughter’s soccer game or practice or other activity would be going ahead as scheduled today. Communications Officer Mike Kellett says it would be best to contact your child’s coach to get the definitive answer to your questions.
However, he repeats that the parks and fields are all re-opening as of this morning.

of course they are opened,
can’t hold back on the soccer games.
I have a $1 that says bylaws and their ticket books will be no where to be found either.
Probably down by South Fort George Park ticketing those who are over parking to see the car show.
