Crash East of Vanderhoof Claims One Life

Prince George, BC – One person has died in a crash that occurred  today  east of Vanderhoof.

The crash involved a van and a  dump truck  and forced the closure of  Highway 16  at Swanson road east of Vanderhoof  for much of the afternoon.

A detour was available,   and the highway  has since reopened.

The investigation into  the cause of the crash  continues.

Whatever the cause, the fact remains that someone lost their life! Another tragic loss for those left behind! Condolences to all affected!
