Fifth Annual Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament Nears
Prince George, B.C. – It’s become a summer tradition in Prince George and it returns in less than a month.
The fifth annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament takes place July 15th and 16th in partnership with the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
Last year’s event raised a record $102,000 bringing the four-year total to $232,000.
All money raised will go towards the purchase of a Medtronic Paceart Optima System and Blood Pressure Monitors for the cardiac lab at the University Hospital of Northern BC.
And though this year’s event is already sold-out, fans are invited to join the Cougars during a meet and greet on Friday July 15th at CN Centre from 4-5 p.m.
It will include the chance to get autographs and participate in a dressing room tour with Cougars alumni, staff and Rowdy Cat.
The tournament will take place Saturday at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club. Confirmed alumni include Dan Hamhuis, Eric Brewer, Tyler Bouck, Ian Walterson, Nick Drazenovic, Quinn Hancock, Myles Zimmer and Chase Witala.
